I believe that you can learn to love just about anyone for many different reasons. As you grow and Love and lose Love, you may think that you are getting closer to finding that “one special person”, true. Given you actually recognize and learn from each previous person – you learn exactly what you do not want (arguably more important than knowing what you want – because you cannot know unless you know everything, which none of us do).

Since dating them is new, the victim doesn’t want to seem pushy, and just let’s whatever the reason for this absence slide. Since you let them go once, this will happen on a regular basis. In hindsight, I should have ended then, for the torture does not cease. I urge everyone to do the same to save themselves countless let downs. Another example is a narc telling you they are sick early Friday, can’t answer the phone until Monday because they won’t feel better till then. They can predict when their illness will end.
